Field Day (formerly Quasar) is a multi-genre, mainly indie-rock influenced band from Glasgow, Scotland. The band was founded in summer of 2019 by Oliver O'Neill, Nathan Woods, Ben Smith, Arron MacMillan and Lewis Mall.
The current lineup is:

Ben Smith - Vocals
Arron MacMillan - Drums
Ranald Finnie - Bass
Field Day began writing music in summer 2019, while simultaneously learning a number of covers to play at gigs along with thier first original, "October Bay"
After Field Day's very first gig playing at a charity event at a school, they went on to write their next original, "Your Call"
Following the writing of the song, Field Day went on to play another gig at Callum's Cavern in Paisley, Scotland.
Succeeding the Callum's Cavern gig, Field Day were due to play at the Village Live Night in Lochwinnoch on the 27th of March.
Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus, they were unable to play.
In August of 2020, Field Day changed their lineup to replace Lewis Mall (Bass) with Ranald Finnie (Bass)
Shortly after this, the band changed their name from Quasar to Field Day.
Field Day have been starting to practice again after lockdown and they are currently writing songs and practising for
their demo EP.
